Genealogy
Genealogy is growing in popularity. Many people feel the need to know more about
their ancestry.
Graphology can add tremendously to the information gathered from searching
through historical records. Whilst genealogy can tell us the names of
our ancestors and further research can tell us how they lived their lives,
analysis of their writing can give us a true insight into their
personalities and help us to understand them on an emotional level.
Old handwritten letters and
diaries can be analysed, providing there is sufficient writing. The
documents can be of any age. It is fascinating to consider that it is
possible to look directly into the psyche of relatives long after the deaths
of any other family members who might have known them.
Children's Writing
Children's writing cannot be
analysed before they can write fluently. It is, however, possible to
ascertain how the intellectual level of achievement compares with
the average for the child's age, together with indications of the
child's social and emotional development. Problems with
learning to write freely have many causes, such as dyslexia, or
physical or emotional difficulties. Graphological analysis
can help identify these before major problems develop, and a
suitable course of remedial action can be suggested.
